How Our Mail-In Service Works

We understand that sending your only copy of a wedding or a baby’s first steps in the mail can feel nerve-wracking. That’s why we’ve built a system based on transparency and communication.

1. Start with a Quote

Use our [Online Quote Tool] to select the types of tapes or film you have. This gives you a clear price upfront—no hidden “handling fees” or surprises.

2. Pack with Care

Place your tapes in a sturdy box with plenty of padding (bubble wrap or crumpled paper). We recommend using an Australia Post Express Post satchel or a tracked parcel. This gives you a tracking number so you can watch your memories travel to our studio in real-time.

3. We Notify You Upon Arrival

The moment your parcel arrives at our South Tamworth studio, we send you an email or text to let you know they are safe. Your tapes are then tagged and moved into our climate-controlled production queue.

4. Professional Restoration & Transfer

Your tapes are cleaned, repaired (if necessary), and run through our Blackmagic Teranex system for stabilization and upscaling. Whether it’s 8mm film or an old VHS, we treat every frame as if it were our own family history.

5. Safe Return

Once digitized, we send your original tapes back to you along with your new USB drive or Cloud download link via Tracked Return Post.

Why Not Just Use a Local “Big Box” Store?

Many people in Port Macquarie consider taking their tapes to a local chemist or department store that offers “video transfer.” However, there are three things you should know:
